Curating, Open-sourcing, and Analyzing Neural Signals of Human Speech

The goal of this project is to curate, organize, and analyze a data set consisting of neural signals recording from the speech centers of the human brain. The data set consist of multiple channels of micro-electrode recordings of electrical signals recorded while the patient repeated sets of words and engaged in conversation. Once the data set has been curated, the goal will be to make it available on an open source data site, and there will be the opportunity to use the data set to test different machine learning algorithms to decode speech from the neural signals.
Required: Proficient in MATLAB or Python programing Desired: Experience working with time series data files (neural, audio)
