In this project, the participant will develop new methodologies for engineering data analysis, for a better description of the process and systems of interest, and achieve higher effectiveness for system monitoring, diagnostics, and control. The faculty will mentor and guide the student through literature review, methodology development, coding, and paper writing. Outcomes of the projects are final reports with the potential for publication.
Starting Spring 2022, FURI eligible.
Strong mathematical background in statistics and linear algebra.
Familiar with MATLAB or Python or R for data analysis.
Experience with machine learning and/or statistical quality control is a plus.
Students with strong motivation for pursuing Ph.D. studies are strongly encouraged to apply.
