Dr. Xiangfan Chen, an Assistant Professor for the Polytechnic School has a research opening for the following project:

We are developing a new high-precision continuous 3D printing system to print various polymers, composites, for biomedical and energy application.

Student qualifications/requirements:

  • Resume
  • Proficiency with C++ (QT development environment) for stage control, image display, etc;
  • Proficiency on CAD software e.g. Solidworks.
  • Machining experience with CNC, lathe, etc.
